Bacon Salt: It's Whats for Dinner!
If you're one of those people who can eat bacon with everything, we've came across a product that may save you from a heart attack. You've just gotta sprinkle J&D's Bacon Salt on top of your next meal. This unique product comes in three flavors: peppered, original and hickory. Now you never have to get burned by bacon grease again. While Bacon Salt may sound like a horrible idea, we actually tried it out and it tastes pretty good. We sprinkled a healthy portion on top of our swiss cheese omelette with great success. You obviously don't get the texture of bacon, but that kinda gets lost in an omelette anyways. The next day we poured a little on our steak and potatoes which added a little luster to the meal. Plus just think of all the grams of fat we saved.
Bacon Salt's a relatively new product, so people are coming up with new uses everyday. Check out the official bacon salt blog for the latest and greatest recipes. The bacon-salted fries and tuna melt look particularly tasty. You can order Bacon Salt direct from J&D or you can find it at your local specialty market.
The PimpWiz.com Bottom Line: Bacon Salt offers enjoyable bacon flavor without the guilt

Salt Lick BBQ - Best BBQ in America

Thirty years ago, Thurman Roberts, Sr. and his wife Hisako T. Roberts started the Salt Lick Restaurant on the ranch where he was born. The stones of the building were quarried from that same ranch. Everything was done by them with their own hands; building and cooking with care and love, a pride in quality, and a job done right.
Family reunions provided them the opportunity to gather and share family BBQ recipes that had been handed down from generation to generation since the Civil War. Their meals were such a success, friends encouraged them to start their own restaurant. Opened for business in 1969, the Salt Lick has become world-renowned.
Since then, the Salt Lick has grown in size and scope. The restaurant facilities have been expanded. Rooms have been added to accommodate various functions. The Pavilion has been added just down the road so that many couples have started their married lives together with us. When the City of Austin built it's new Austin Bergstrom International Airport, The Salt Lick was one of the few restaurants picked to represent what Austin dining is to the rest of the world. They began our mail order catalog to share the joy of Texas barbecue with the rest of the country.
This is the best BBQ in The UNITED STATES of AMERICA!
