The Search for the next Great American Band!
New Reality Series from the Producers of American Idol Searches for the Ultimate Musical Group! The producers behind mega-hit phenomenon American Idol take the musical reality genre to a whole new level when they embark on a quest to find the next American band sensation that will take the nation by storm. THE SEARCH FOR THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND (working title) will scour the country, seeking musical groups of all ages, styles and genres, with hundreds of bands auditioning for a shot at stardom.
After the auditions, judges will narrow down hopefuls from all walks of musical life – young and old, family and friends, garage bands and weekend warriors – to 10 semi-finalists who will perform in front of a live studio audience. Viewers will then get a chance to vote for their favorite bands via telephone and text messaging and determine who stays in the competition.
Each week, the bands will be challenged with varied musical themes, jazzing up each of the performance shows as their skills in a wide spectrum of musical styles are put to the test along with their personal and professional relationships.
Finally, in a not-to-be-missed showdown, the final three bands will compete to secure a recording contract. If you think American Idol is intense, wait until you see what a band must go through for its shot at fame.

PimpWiz Tees - Ninja and EZ
Popular culture trends and news have out-grown the time lag of print publications, leaving websites such as PimpWiz.com at the forefront of current events, style, entertainment, and beyond.PimpWiz has become more than just a website. We have joined forces with the best in the business and launched our exclusive t-shirt line which transcends the website into a lifestyle.
The images and tag-lines are obviously "Young Fresh to Def" and we purposely made our logo discrete like your goomah (also known as your down low, goomar, or your ninja chick)The attention is not on the PimpWiz brand, but rather on the concepts and depictions that give readers the chance to wear the ideology of PimpWiz.
Our "EZ-E" shirt was just featured in the new Clipbandits Video! See if you can spot it ;-)
Look out for our new collabo with the dudes over at H&H. It's gonna be fire!

Twentyfourseven - Entourage/Real World Combo Pack
What do you get when you throw seven guys into a sprawling L.A. abode, tell them to do their creative thing, and keep the high beams on and the cameras rolling? No, we're not talking about "Real World" again. It's "Twentyfourseven", MTV's newest reality series based on the same concept as HBO's successful, scripted show "Entourage".The stars of "Twentyfourseven" come with a variety of backgrounds and interests. The ringleader is 23-year-old Greg Carney, an entrepreneur and transplanted southern boy from Arkansas. Matt Baker is the requisite actor that looks a bit like Val Kilmer, and Ty Hodges is the filmmaker from the valley. Greg Whitman is a young record producer, and reggae-hippie Greg Cipes just wants to make them. Frankie Del Gado lands on the show as the previously-penniless Mexican club promoter for Hugh Hefner. Oh, yeah, and then there's Greg Carney's big brother, Chris, and a smattering of unspecified "A-list friends". Judging by the line-up, it looks like plenty of parties and a good dose of drama is in store.
"Twentyfourseven" is reportedly one of MTV's latest attempts to specifically target and increase their male viewers. (And the network's profits, or so the reasoning goes.) So, feel special, guys, these unscripted buds are for you.
The fledging reality stars will be making their small-screen debut on December 6 at 10:30 pm. In case you've got a life and can't be glued to your TV that night, MTV offers the episode (for free!) for your downloading pleasure on iTunes and iFilm. You can also check out the show's official website for additional dirt.

World's First YouTube Band
If you get a chance, head over to YouTube.com today. The number one video is something called "Internet Killed the Video Star" by the ClipBandits - the world's first YouTube only band.
There are currently only 3 members in ClipBandits - J-Pe$o, Girl Bass Player and ClipBandit. They don't even know each others real names, just their YouTube IDs, and have never met in person. They also live in 3 different states, California, New York and Texas. So how does an Internet only band practice or play gigs together? Easy. They do it all via YouTube. J-Pe$o and Girl Bass Player record their separate parts and upload their clips to YouTube. Then the ClipBandit syncs up their clips on several large video screens in his recording studio and plays his part live. He then uploads the final product to YouTube.
ClipBandits all got started when J-Pe$o uploaded a video to YouTube of a song he wrote during college. Then The ClipBandit saw the video and submitted a video response of himself playing along with J-Pe$o's clip. Several songs later they've added a bass player, are considered the front runner for the Cingular YouTube Underground Band Contest and are looking for a drummer. We wish them luck.
