A Night at the Guggenheim
Spending the night sleeping at a museum isn't just for kids anymore. As part of the upcoming group show, "theanyspacewhatever," at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City, Brussels-born artist Carsten Höller has created a stand-alone hotel room smack dab in the middle of the museum. Starting this week, you can make a reservation to spend the night in Höller's room for any night between October 25 and January 6.This won't be your typical hotel stay. Besides getting the run of coolest building Frank Lloyd Wright ever designed, you get a robe, slippers, access to a bathroom/shower and a continental breakfast. The "hotel" room itself is fairly minimal with only a double bed, a desk, a changing area. All the parts of the room are set on on three concentric glass disks that rotate ever so slowly providing quite the trippy effect.
As you can tell from the picture above there aren't any walls surrounding Höller's room. No walls, no room service, no wet-bar, but no pesky screaming kids either to keep you up. Of course you'll probably have a security guard eyeing you the whole time. But we urge you to bring your loved one and give a tryst a shot regardless. For more information on booking a stay at the Guggenheim head to the exhibition's home page.

Watch Full Episodes of Your Favorite TV Shows at Hulu

You've probably received at least three emails with a link to Tina Fey's hilarious Sarah Palin imitations on Saturday Night Live. But, while most videos you get sent from friends are hosted at YouTube, you may have noticed that a service called Hulu hosts the SNL clips. The sheer volume of complete episodes and side-splitting clips combine to make Hulu one of the best places to waste time on the internet.
Once the suits at NBC and Fox saw all of the success YouTube was having, they decided to team up to start their own site. In March 2007 the giants started an independent company to host a video portal and decided upon the forgettable name Hulu. Since that time the site has added content from a wide variety of distributors including Sony, Warner Brothers and MGM giving users a never ending array of videos to stream.
Obviously, you can watch full episodes and clips from nearly every Fox and NBC show, but you can also enjoy full movies. You want to see Ghostbusters? They've got it. Sitting in a meeting and you get the sudden urge to watch the Karate Kid? No problem. Missed last night's episode of The Office? Piece of cake.
The only negative about Hulu is that you've got to watch ads occasionally. Yet, for now, they don't pop up that often and it's worth it for the extremely high quality of the videos. Plus, watching these videos is actually legal thanks to the deals they've worked out with the copyright holders. As time goes on Hulu will add more and more content to the site. Keep your eyes on this innovative venture to see what they come up with next.
