Don (Danny Mcbride) from Drillbit Taylor explains why he's so... sexy?



In 2006, McBride appeared in the lead role in the low-budget comedy film The Foot Fist Way, which he wrote with friends and frequent collaborators Jody Hill and Ben Best. Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's production company, Gary Sanchez Productions, has picked up distribution rights to the film and hopes for it to endure a Napoleon Dynamite-like success. The world's most expensive champagne, popping the records at 6,485 dollars for a personalized bottle of bubbly, goes on sale Thursday targeting a "super-rich" global elite.

The limited edition 12-bottle box sets of Perrier-Jouet champagne will be priced at 50,000 euros, according to French drink firm Pernod-Ricard.

Sales will be limited to a "community of super-rich" consumers in the United States, Britain, Japan, China, Russia, Switzerland and France.

"We are going to sell these box-sets to 100 people around the world who will have a chance to customize their own champagne, the ultimate luxury," said Perrier Olivier Cavil, head of communications at Perrier-Jouet.

"Each buyer will come to Epernay (in eastern France) for a one-on-one meeting with our cellar master Herve Deschamps, and will personally add a 'liqueur' to personalize the bottles," he said.

A combination of sugar and wines from different years, the liqueur will put the finishing touch on bottles of Perrier-Jouet's 2000 Belle Epoque champagne.

Buyers will also be offered a storage nest in Perrier-Jouet's cellars, to hold the bottles for another eight months.

The previous price record was held by a limited edition of Dom Perignon champagne, which went on sale in 2005 for 12,000 euros per three-litre bottle.

Pernod Ricard, which owns the champagne brands Mumm and Perrier-Jouet, is the fourth player in a booming global market.

Champagne producers exported 150 million bottles last year, a 7.3-percent jump from 2006, in addition to 188 million guzzled in France, according to industry figures.

By reading Steve's interviews and features you can learn a lot about the industry, and what goes on behind the closed doors of the hottest clubs in town. Lewis knows what he's talking about thanks to stints as the Director of such iconic clubs as Limelight, Tunnel and Plaid. We expect big things from Good Night Mr. Lewis over the next few months, as they seem to be just getting started.

Down By The Hipster has been around for over a year, which is nearly a lifetime in the blogosphere. The site contains more a snarky view on the industry, and tackles a wide variety of topics that might be important to those who partake in the city's nightlife. One day you'll find a post about the price of pizza going up in the city, while the next day you might find a couple of posts about new clubs opening up downtown. DBTH also discusses music and current events from a club-goers point of view.

A third site that you need to keep your eyes on is Guest of a Guest. Three editors and a large staff of writers keep Guest of a Guest full of fresh NYC social news, culture and interest stories reported straight from the Big Apple.

The United States is no longer the nation with the largest number of internet users. China overtook the US last month in users for the first time, according to the state-run China Internet Network Information Center.



Researcher BDA China Ltd. estimates there are now over 220 million internet users in China, compared with 217.1 million in the U.S. Online ad revenue continues to lag in China, however, totaling $1.3 billion in 2007 compared to e-Marketer estimates of $21.4 billion in America.

Every year on March 17, we honor Saint Patrick (circa 385–461), one of the patron saints of Ireland. Whether or not you choose to celebrate the holiday by wearing green, eating Irish foods, imbibing Irish drink (usually Guinness), or attending parades, we wish you a safe a happy holiday.

Everyone wants to be Irish on St. Patrick's Day... even computer operating systems. So as you raise your glass to St. Patrick this year, try to pretend your beer was a computer operating system. It might go a little like this...



Macintosh Beer
Considered by many to be a "light" beer. All the cans look identical. When you take one from the fridge, it opens itself. The ingredients list is not on the can. If you call to ask about the ingredients, you are told that "you don't need to know." A notice on the side reminds you to drag your empties to the trashcan.

DOS Beer
Requires you to use your own can opener, and that you read the directions carefully before opening the can. The can is divided into eight compartments of 2oz each, which have to be accessed separately. A lot of people keep drinking it after it was discontinued.

Windows 3.1 Beer
Was the world's most popular beer in the mid-1990s. Looked a lot like Mac Beer's. Requires that you already own a DOS Beer. Claims that it allows you to drink several DOS Beers simultaneously, but in reality you can only drink a few of them, very slowly, especially slowly if you are drinking the Windows Beer at the same time. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, a can of Windows Beer will explode when you open it.

Windows NT Beer
Windows NT beer could only be purchased by the truckload. This caused most people to have to go out and buy bigger refrigerators. The can looked just like Windows 3.1 Beer. Touted as an "industrial strength" beer, and suggested only for use in bars.

Windows XP Beer
Tastes like Windows 2000 beer but comes with a pretty dress. It opens sometimes without asking and if you leave a case of it open for awhile, it might explode all over your basement. Oh best of all, sometimes Windows XP Beer likes to open your front door and let people in to hang advertisements all over your house and steal your credit card number.

Windows Vista Beer
Windows Vista Beer looks a lot like the newest Mac Beer but tastes more like Windows XP Beer. Most people will probably keep drinking Windows XP Beer until their friends try Windows Vista Beer and say they like it. Many people try Windows Vista Beer, then spit it out and spend hours trying to put Windows XP Beer back into the same can.

UNIX Beer
This very heavy beer comes in 32oz cans, and has been around for years, rumor has it that it was originally brewed as a hoax by a couple of bored workers, only for them to find that some people actually liked the stuff. It tends to be drunk only by freaks or eccentric academics, often with beards; and drinkers of it do not like drinkers of any other beer. In its basic form it doesn't look particularly impressive, but with the addition of a magic ingredient named "X", it can be converted into an all-singing all-dancing beer on a par with the others. Many other varieties exist, with a huge range of flavors and (often unpronounceable) ingredients. Mac Beer has many of the same ingredients as Unix Beer.

OS/2 Beer
Tasted like a mix between Unix and DOS Beer. Allowed you to drink several DOS Beers and a Windows 3.1 Beer simultaneously, but slowly. You never saw anyone drinking OS/2 Beer, but the manufacturer (International Beer Manufacturing) claimed that 9 million OS/2 Beer six-packs were sold. The best place these days to find a an OS/2 Beer is inside an old ATM machine.

Amiga Beer
The company went out of business, but their recipe was picked up by some weird German company, so now this beer is an import. This beer never really sold very well because the original manufacturer didn't understand marketing. Like Unix Beer, Amiga Beer fans are an extremely loyal and loud group. When this can was originally introduced, it appeared flashy and colorful, but the design never changed much over the years, so it looked dated in its later years.

VMS Beer
Requires minimal user interaction, except for popping the top and sipping. However cans have been known on occasion to explode, or contain extremely un-beer-like contents. Best drunk in high pressure development environments. When you call the manufacturer for the list of ingredients, you're told that is proprietary and referred to an unknown listing in the manuals published by the FDA. Rumors are that this was once listed in the Physicians' Desk Reference as a tranquilizer, but no one can claim to have actually seen it.

From the moment that the news that Eliot Spitzer paid for sex, we've been waiting to see what the high-priced call girl he saw looked like. Today the New York Times found the girl the former Governor knew as "Kristen, " and Salon has found her MySpace page. Ashley Alexandra Dupré is the 22 year-old at the center of the biggest scandal in the history of New York State politics.

We had a feeling "Kristen" would have looks that kill, and the pictures on her site don't disappoint. You can find out a lot about Dupre on her MySpace page. Ashley discusses her hopes and dreams, as well as her horrible childhood in detail on her page. You can also check out a few photos of the gorgeous Dupré. Hopefully Hugh Hefner will sign her up for the next issue of Playboy.

It turns out there is more to Dupré than just working for an escort service, she is also an aspiring R&B singer. She has her own band, and has written a number of tunes. Her band has a website, which features a number of tracks she recorded. Honestly, a few of the songs aren't too bad.

Los Angeles, California based glam metal parody band. Originally formed as Metal Shop they're known for their energetic live show, the longest running metal show on the Sunset Strip [1]. Onstage, the band both pays tribute to and lampoons the heyday of 80's glam metal. The band's between-song comedy includes jests at conflict between band members, discussions of drugs, sex, and improvised humor with the crowd.

The band members have all adopted pseudonyms in the spirit of the bands they imitate. Their line up is billed as: drummer "Stix Zadinia" (real name Darren Leader), guitarist "Satchel" (real name Russ Parrish), singer "Michael Starr," (real name Ralph Saenz) and bassist "Lexxi Foxxx (real name Travis Haley)."

Saenz is the current lead singer for the Van Halen tribute band the "Atomic Punks", and was lead singer for L.A. Guns for a short period of time.

Recently the band moved to the Key Club on the Sunset Strip where their shows have been selling out regularly. They continue to play other regular gigs in the Southern California area including a weekly show in San Diego, California; one in Cabazon, California; and a weekly show at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. They've been featured on the cover of All Access Magazine , and won their award for "Best Tribute Band in the Universe." The San Diego Union-Tribune has called them "the ultimate '80s heavy metal tribute."

Onstage Guests
Metal Skool frequently invites high-profile guests at their shows (celebrities and musicians) onstage to "crowd participate," and a number of these incidents have been caught on film. They are usually invited to join the band onstage for a song, sometimes temporarily replacing band members. Joined by Nuno Bettencourt and Sully Erna, singer Michael Starr quipped, "Hey, I finally get to play with real musicians!"

Notable onstage guests and songs include:

One of the best commercials that aired during the Super Bowl was a preview for Angelina Jolie's latest action flick entitled Wanted. You may remember the clip for the awesome special effects sequence where Angelina changes the path of a bullet by just looking at it. Wanted marks a return to the action genre for Jolie, where she has already had major successes with both Tomb Raider and Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Starring in the film with Angelina will be the talented James McAvoy and legendary actor Morgan Freeman. Wanted tells the story of a young man (McAvoy) who discovers that his long lost father works as an assassin for an organization. After his father was murdered Jolie plays an assassin who trains McAvoy to take on the people who murdered his dad. You can expect plenty of lip locking between McAvoy and Jolie throughout the film.

We also hope to see plenty of skin from the foxy Angelina, who is said to be pregnant with yet another of Brad Pitt's spawns. Wanted is based on a comic book of the same name written by Mark Miller. The movie is due to hit theaters on June 28, when we expect this flick to be one of the summer's major blockbusters.

If you saw American Gangster you probably left with the same question we did. Who was that gorgeous woman that played Denzel's moll. Well we've got the answer: the role of Eva was played by sexy newcomer Lymari Nadal. Lymari stole the show with her beauty, and we've named the Puerto Rican bombshell our Minx of the Month for March.

Lymari got her start playing Gina on the latest edition of Battlestar Galactica, before being cast as Denzel Washington's paramour in American Gangster. She steals the show in that movie with her voluptuous curves and breathy voice. Nadal enters the movie as Miss Puerto Rico, which we can't imagine was too much of a stretch for her. Towards the end of the movie she shows that's she not all good looks, by displaying her acting chops.

The beautiful Nadal was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1978, and moved to LA in 2001. Before heading for the mainland she finished her masters degree in chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico. She also took acting classes to hone her skills. Lymari married actor Edward James Olmos in 2002.

Earlier this year she was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award with the rest of the American Gangster cast. The future looks bright for our Minx of the Month, as she ponders what role to take on next. We just hope she returns to the screen soon, so we can get another look at her gorgeous body. Lymari's got style, grace, talent and most of all drop dead good looks making her our March Minx of the Month.

Olivia Munn, the foxy geek hostess from Attack of the Show (G4 TV) and Playboy Magazine (Feb 2007), is in a new viral YouTube video for Dell Computer called "IT Through The Decades."

The clip helps promote Dell's servers by poking fun at all the bad IT related decisions companies have made the past few decades (1978-2008). In the clip, Mike the IT guy suggests "new" technologies like databases and bar codes and gets made fun of by his colleagues.

Olivia doesn't have a ton of lines but she definitely adds some sex appeal to the YouTube clip. Warning: It's a little long (especially for a "viral" clip). Olivia fans will also probably get a kick out of seeing her dressed up in retro 70's and 80's outfits. You can save this clip off YouTube by following these instructions.





If you're looking for more Olivia Munn, just Google search her name. YouTube is full of clips of her doing things like riding a Hawaii Chair, seductively eating hotdogs and recovering from a baby oil slip. Too bad she's dating that dude from One Tree Hill.
