The Evolution of Dance is the most-viewed YouTube video ever. In the video, Judson Laipply, a motivational speaker, dances to a soundtrack that plays through various popular songs ranging from Elvis Presley to MC Hammer and Michael Jackson. As of February 2008, The Evolution of Dance has over 76 million views on YouTube, and is the most viewed video on the site.

Here's a parody of The Evolution of Dance performed by Optimus Prime from The Transformers called "The Evolution of Dance With Optimus Prime." Keep your eyes peeled for the subtle robotic crotch thrusts during YMCA. It might not be appropriate for younger Decepticons.

Surprisingly, this clip is not from the popular stop-animation comedy show Robotic Chicken. The guy who made it is named Patrick Boivin. Seth Green should give him a job.

Fox Broadcasting, Fox Interactive Media and FremantleMedia signed an exclusive deal with Apple to bring American Idol audio and video performances to iTunes as single song-sized snippets available the day after they premiere on air.

Audio performances of the top 24 contenders run 99¢ per song, and videos of the top 12 finalists performances will be priced $1.99/each from March 11.

Apple will also become one of the show's premiere sponsors and maintain a branded presence on AmericanIdol.com, where some free streaming performances can be seen.

For many years Playboy Enterprises was flush with cash, and always posted profits. Those days seem like a distant memory for the company, which posted a net loss of $1.1 million for the fourth quarter of 2007. Two major factors that have contributed to Playboy's poor performance are all of the free porn on the internet and the decline of print ad dollars available in general. Stockholders felt the pain, as the stock plunged to a year low on Wednesday.

You can be assured Hugh Hefner isn't taking this news lying down. He may be wearing a smoking jacket, but he isn't lying down. Hef assured stockholders that Playboy is starting to capitalize on all sorts of interesting income streams. The company plans to invest in technology, and has already started the process of getting in bed with the most prominent cellular carriers in Europe.

Regardless of Playboy's efforts to gain new business, they aren't giving up on the print magazine. The company's management seems to understand the magazine's role as an ambassador for the brand. Everyone wants to party at the Playboy Mansion with the girls they see in the magazine, not the ones from the website. The next few years should prove extremely challenging for Hef, but we expect he'll weather the storm. You don't get to stick around for 55 years, unless you are able to adapt to the competitive landscape.

Panettiere combines the drop dead looks of an all-American girl with actual talent, unlike some of her peers. At only 18 years old Hayden still has her best years in front of her.

The barely legal actress & singer from Palisades, New York has been in the spotlight since she began modeling at the age of five months. Over the years Panettiere has lent her voice to Disney's A Bug Life and the Kingdom Hearts series of video games. Recently she signed with the William Morris Agency, which should open up a world of big-screen opportunities.

Hayden has been making quite a name for herself offstage as well. In late 2006 Neutrogena made her the cover girl for their new worldwide ad campaign. Also that year Hayden started dating Steven Colletti from Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. Lately rumors have Panettiere romancing her Heroes' co-star Milo Ventimiglia. She keeps denying she's dating Ventimiglia, probably due to their 12 year age difference.

The short but sweet Panettiere also spent sometime trying to stop dolphin and whale hunts in Japan. We just love a minx who follows her convictions! The fact that she's the sexiest star on television doesn't hurt either.

Have you ever wondered what the story was with the seal on the back of the $1 bill? It turns out the seal isn't a secret signal for the Freemasons, and isn't even a satanic symbol regardless of what you may have read. Historians from the U.S. Government have finally revealed the true meanings behind the seal. A new State Department exhibit answers any questions you may have.

The Continental Congress first commissioned the seal in 1776, and over the years many powerful symbols have been integrated into the design. The unfinished pyramid on the back symbolizes a work in progress. Arrows on the seal symbolize war, while the olive branch speaks towards peace. Masons share some of those symbols, but they have never been exclusively the domain of the order.

Another misunderstood element of the seal is the phrase "Novus Ordo Seculorum" below the Roman numerals for 1776. The words translate as "A New Order of the Ages" that began with independence. They don't imply that the US will be the lynch pin of a sinister "New World Order." Finally, the references to 13 don't point to evil; they just refer to the original 13 colonies. If we could pick the King of Hollywood, Sam Nazarian's name would certainly be on our short list. Just this week Business Week magazine profiled the Emperor of Cool. At 32 years of age the LA native owns four night clubs, two highly successful sushi restaurants and a movie production company. The scary part is that Sam seems to just be getting started building his empire.

Nazarian has now set his sights on the hotel industry. He aims to open boutique hotels in LA and Miami Beach early next year. Also on the drawing board are plans to rework the Sahara Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Yet Sam Nazarian will probably always be known as the guy who started celebrity hangouts Hyde and Privilege.

Instead of treating his nightclubs as a short term investment, Nazarian focused on building them as long term brands. Sam owns each club outright, and remodels and renovates them every once in a while to keep them fresh. Nazarian also bought some of the biggest promoters in town in order to keep their clients coming back to his clubs. The lodging industry offers Sam a completely different challenge. We look forward to seeing if he can achieve the same level of success with his hotels.

This past Tuesday was "Super Tuesday" in the United States. Both the Republican and Democratic political parties held primary elections in 22 states to help decide which candidate would represent their parties in the upcoming November U.S. Presidential election.

The U.S. podcasting audience reached 18.5 million in 2007, according to eMarketer and was projected to top 65 million by 2012 with 25 million listeners downloading one or more podcasts a week.

Ad spending on podcasts in the U.S. is also expected to creep up, from $165 million in 2007 to $435 million in 2012.

Major podcasting networks like Revision3 are growing with the medium's success by revamping their websites and adding new programming.

If you're not already a podcast consumer, then check out the podcast section in iTunes. There's a lot of great stuff from tech shows to yoga workouts. And they are all free. I usually watch 5-10 podcasts a day on either my iPod Touch or Apple TV. Makes the bus ride to work much more enjoyable.

Last month, 395 Croatian men, women and children covered themselves in blue paint, dressed up as Smurfs and got ready to go down in history... as failures.

The "Croatian Smurfs" had gathered in an attempt to smash the previous world record for "most Smurfs gathered together at one time."

Unfortunately due to a research error (possibly caused by Gargamel), their attempt was all in vain.

According to the latest, but out of date, Croatian printing of the Guiness World Records book, the record for most Smurfs gathered in one place was 291. With 395 Smurfs, the Croations thought they were sure to earn a new world record.

However in 2007, a group of students at Warwick University beat them too it. The Warwick students had managed to round up a grand total of 451 Smurfs and according to Guiness, currently hold the world record.



They were close, but Croatians needed a little over 50 more Smurfs to beat the Warwick University record. Perhaps they should have contacted Guiness World Records before the attempt. I want to feel bad for them, but just seeing the the 2 words "Croatians" and "Smurfs" in the same sentence kind of freaks me out.

A somber spokesman for the Croatians had this to say: "We could easily have got more Smurfs, but we thought that over a hundred more than the American record... would be enough."

In case you've never heard of The Smurfs before, they are are a fictional group of small blue creatures who live somewhere in the woods. The Belgian cartoonist Peyo introduced Smurfs to the world in a 1958 Belgian magazine called Le Journal de Spirou. However, Smurfs are probably best known from the 1980s animated Hanna-Barbera Productions television series, The Smurfs (DVD).

Have you ever dreamed about not paying your taxes, and getting away with it? We sure have; which is why we've been watching Wesley Snipes' tax evasion trial intently. As you may recall Snipes didn't pay taxes from 1999-2004 claiming that Americans have no obligation to pay taxes and the IRS cannot legally collect them. On Friday in Ocala, Florida a jury found Snipes not guilty of the most serious charges while convicting him of the three less serious offenses.

The man who played Willie Mays Hayes got off with a slap on the wrist, and will probably not see any jail time. It wasn't all good news for Snipes, as he will still have to make amends to the IRS for the money he owes including heavy penalties. Still, we can't help but think that any non-celebrity millionaire who didn't pay his taxes would serve hard time in a federal penitentiary. It pays to be a beloved movie star.

After Snipes forked over millions of dollars to the government during the early '90s, he got involved with the controversial tax denier movement. A couple of prominent figures in that movement, Eddie Ray Kahn and Douglas P. Rosile, convinced Snipes that no law makes anyone liable for taxes and that the government tricks people into paying. If only it was that easy Wesley. Those figures, who were Snipes co-defendants, were found guilty of more serious crimes. Both face ten years in the slammer.

Let's hope Wesley Snipes puts his tax problems behind him, and focuses on making a good movie for the first time since Blade: Trinity.

On a cold Saturday morning in January, a flash mob of Improv Everywhere Agents descended on New York City's Grand Central train station and left the entire concourse in a state of complete confusion.

Flash Mob - a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse.

What did they do that had everyone so confused? This flash mob of 200+ people suddenly froze in place at the exact same second for 5 minutes in the Main Concourse of Grand Central Station. The frozen poses ranged from people tying their shoes and eating to someone who just dropped a stack of papers. Everyone from tourists to cops stopped in amazement to try to figure out what was happening around them.



My favorite part is the guy trying to drive his garbage cart. He sounds like such a baby when he gets on his radio to call for help.
