Tawny Kitaen may not be the newest minx on the block, but who can forget the footage of her doing the splits on the hood of a car wearing nothing but a night gown in the White Snake video for "Here I Go Again"? Her appearance in the video made Tawny a sex symbol in less than five minutes and twenty years later, it's easy to say she hasn't lost her hotness.


Tawny started out her career as a model and actress. Her first big role was sharing the silver screen with Tom Hanks in the movie Bachelor Party. Her association with metal bands started long before she appeared in the White Snake video. She lent her long, shapely legs to the cover of rock band Ratt's debut album, and also modeled for another of their album covers. At the time, she was also dating the band's guitarist. And he wasn't the only rock star Tawny fell for; she married David Coverdale, the lead singer of white Snake, after appearing in six of their videos.




After shooting to music video fame, Tawny segued her success into more acting gis acting and becoming an all around entertainment personality. In the early 90's she cohosted America's Funniest People with Full House star Dave Coulier, was also a regular on the TV show The New WKRP in Cincinatti and had a recurring role in the TV show Hercules. She's also shared the big screen with Tom Hanks in the movie Bachelor Party.


Tawny's most recent claim to fame was appearing on the VH1 reality show The Surreal Life. But the show unearthed her less than glamorous personal life. The leggy actress has been linked to many high profile stars, including Tommy Lee and O.J. Simpson, and her second marraige was to baseball player Chuck Finely. She and Finely had two children together, but the two divorced after charges of alleged domestic violence. And last year Tawny entered rehab after after police found drugs in her possession.


Despite a recent rough patch, Tawny has reportedly cleaned up her act and most recently was seen stretching her acting chops by playing Lady McBeth on the London stage. Without a doubt, I'm sure we'll be seeing Tawny Kitaen light up the screen with her fiery red hair and in your face sex appeal again some day soon.
