The nearly-nude, scorching hot ladies at Las Vegas's Palms casino resort are now officially even hotter. Why? After a 20-year hibernation, Hugh Hefner's Playboy Club will has reopened on top of the Palms' $650 million Fantasy Tower. Palms owner George Maloof welcomes the conglomerate. He notes that Playboy "is a great brand that I think works very well with the Palms brand." It should, considering that the Playboy logo was already emblazoned in the side of the Palms building.

With a home base in Chicago, a mansion in Los Angeles, and a corporate presence in New York City, it stands to reason that the next hop on Playboy's bunny-trail is Las Vegas. Hugh believes that the new club will allow patrons to feel like they're been to a real Playboy party, complete with Playboy-themed poker tournaments, beauty pageants, and fashion shows.

One of the major forces behind the move is Christie Hefner, Hugh's 53-year-old daughter and CEO of Playboy Enterprises. Under her scrutinizing gaze, Playboy has expanded into retail, pay television and exclusive content for mobile devices over the last two decades.

So, what's next on the roster? Will Playboy be opening its own casino resort in the city of sin? Sources say no, but you can never tell: these beautiful Bunnies might take over the world someday, slot machines and all.
