Keira Knightly, the outspoken, charming 21 year old Brittish actress, has always had a place in Hollywood. Born to parents in the acting field themselves, she knew at an early age it was something she was interested in. At age six, her parents got her an agent after she complained that she didn't receive nearly as many phone calls as they did. Now, named the Sexiest Woman in the World by Britain's FHM Magazine, she's taking the world by storm. The 5'8" actress from Teddington, England started her career at age nine and made a name for herself at age 13 when she starred alongside Natalie Portman in The Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. Since then, she's been going non-stop. Taking inspiration from her heroes, Katharine Hepburn and Vivian Leigh, she's made quite a name for herself in a relatively short amount of time.

Her latest blockbusters include "Bend it like Beckham", "Domino" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" the sequal to which is due out this summer, and being named the spokesmodel for Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle. Even after beating out Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba for the FHM title and being voted "Most Glamorous Actress" by Glamour Magazine, the young actress still maintains a level of humblessness that only proves to make her seemingly even more charming. According to Keira, she's far from being the glamour girl that is portrayed on the hundreds of magazine covers. "I don't know why I'm a scrub, but I am. I've got some great clothes and I'll put them on, do my makeup and hair, stand in front of the mirror and feel like such an idiot. I feel stupid if I've made an effort. It's ridiculous." But hell, we're still impressed. Not only is she super low-maintenance, but she doesn't buy into the typical Hollywood self-image obsession either. Giving her opinion on plastic surgery and the likes, she stated "If a boob job is really the answer to all your problems, I take my hat off to you. And who knows? In five years time when I'm completely past it, I'll be botox and facelifts and nose jobs and hair weaves and watermelons. But I don't fancy solid tits." Nor do we Keira, and we applaud you.

Also claiming that "she isn't the type of girl who works out every day", she claims to "eat bowls of pasta or whatever makes me happy. I haven't been to the gym since January and I'm drinking about half a bottle of wine a night." Cheers! And in the words of Ms. Knightley, "F*** it. You've only got one life- live it."

Eventually hoping to break away from major film productions and move into theatre acting, she wants to start auditioning for stage productions, but it looks like that idea is going to have to be put on hold. She's already working on filming "Silk" and after that wraps, she'll be filming a third sequel to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie and working on another film, "Atonement". But no rush. She's young, beautiful and from the looks of it, will be around for quite some time.
