Most women know within the first several seconds of meeting a man if he is going to get more than a handshake or a kiss on the cheek. Female primitive instinct kicks in when an introduction is made and women consider having animal kingdom-like relations with a man before specific drawbacks or shortcomings are unveiled. And while most men may think they are still in get-some land, they haven't realized that they have slipped into the zone of no return, the infamous, the terrible, the seemingly irreversible, The Friend Zone.

A woman may place a man in The Friend Zone for reasons even she can't explain or quite grasp. Sometimes the energy isn't right or the chemistry isn't being chemical. Unfortunately, The Friend Zone can be a permanent place of residence for some unassuming individuals. Unlike men, women usually do not change their minds about who they want their intimate partners to be once they have made that crucial decision. But there may just be a way to get her to think more like a man and to consider a friend a potential lover even after a long stay in The Friend Zone.

First, you have to ask yourself what you want out of The Friend Zone for. Do you want to be more than friends just to have a session or two? Or do you want out to have a loving relationship (with sessions as well of course)?

If you are looking for a few quickies (or longies, depending on your energy level, and well, your age), you have to let her see your aggressive side in a nonchalant manner. Talk to your boys in front of her about other girls you are talking to, order her drinks for her (know what she likes and show her you know), compliment her in unique ways about things you know she stresses about (weight=tell her she looks skinny, hair=tell her it looks beautiful, ass=tell her you would hit that), always seem busy (miss a few calls, say you can't hang when she wants to-make her want you and your attention), and add as many cute chicks to your myspace page as you can. This will get you to the edge of The Friend Zone. The rest of the way is yours to take and is dependent upon sex appeal and pure game.

If you want out of The Friend Zone in order to be in a committed (or an according-to-her-committed) relationship, the approach should be to back off. Many dating seminars and texts advise immediate cessation of all contact once a man finds himself in The Friend Zone. Separation intensifies feelings and if you are friends, she will miss the companionship, miss the closeness, and in essence, miss you. Time apart also confuses and blurs senses so use this to your advantage. She just may find herself wondering what it is she misses so much about you and if she misses just a friend, or someone who means more.

The Friend Zone is a dark and dangerous place and the road back is not a smooth one. But there is always a way back if there was a way there. Depending upon the girl and what you want from her, find that way and don't stop until you can honestly say you tried your hardest.
