Investigators Look Into Huge Bounced Check
"May 5, 2006 - A PNC bank branch in North Jersey waived its normal procedures and accepted for deposit a 25 Million dollar check at a drive-through teller window.Real estate investor Solomon Dwek of Ocean Township often conducted large transactions that way. Turns out the check bounced big-time, but not before Dwek wired 23-Million dollars of PNC's funds into other accounts.
