So supposedly you have all the answers or at least
something to ease the pain. Here's a question for you.

I believe in telling the truth regardless of how
painful it may be, I just think that a lie would hurt
more. I have been raised to listen and be genuinely
sincere. Good guys finish last right. Or do I need to
revamp my look. I have even cut back on my honesty
simply not to hurt someone's feelings. I've met and
been with some smart and beautiful women before, where
are they at? Unfortunately it seems as if the "girls"
in my age group are fairly immature and just can't
seem to grow into a woman. What's the deal? Am I just
being too picky? Let me know what you think.

Dear No more Mr. Nice Guy,

Telling the truth is not always the right thing. In fact, sometimes, the right thing to do is to hold back, especially when someone’s feelings are on the line. You can be a good person and still manipulate the truth when need-be. The difference between the “good guys” and the “bad guys” is in the motivation and depth behind the deception.

If a girl asks you if she is attractive, you can’t say “no” even if she isn’t. You have to find a way to give her the impression that she is not unappealing. Finding a feature or two that are bearable on her and telling her you like those, or that she is ________ (fill in an adjective that is so vague she has no idea what it means) are two ways of working around this awful question that women ask quite frequently. This is what I like to call honesty without animosity.

Good guys do not always finish last. They may not finish first, or with the least amount of strain to get to the finish line, but most of the time they fall somewhere in between the ones who cheat and lie and the complete losers. And that’s okay. You are still finishing the race and reaching your goal (getting the girl), but you also still have some self respect at the end of the day. That should mean more than just finishing.

And stop looking for women. The right one, and even the wrong but oh-so-good ones, will fall into your lap when you least expect it (unless you’re at a strip club and you just paid her to fall there, then it’s expected). Women are complex and at times, difficult to understand, but be patient, let fate take its course and give her a chance to show you that what you were searching for is actually right in front of you.
