The band motu is a mid west band that is based out of Madison, WI. The
band is comprised of three poeple, a bass player, a guitarist, and drum
player. Motu is a fusion band that incorporates
many elements of jazz, blues, funk, jazz, and jam.

Keller/Bailis with Special Guests 930pmLike Jack Johnson, Keller/Bailis plays groovy acoustic funk. The difference is that where Johnson relies on a bit more eclectic sound, incorporating lite jazz, Keller/Bailis's points of reference are based groove, funk, R&B music as well the classic singer-songwriter motifs.
Joshua Keller is formely the lead guitarist and lead singer from the 8-piece Funk Unit, "Nozmo King" and the Founder of Pimpwiz.com. Guitarist David Bailis has performed extensively throughout the east
coast with various artists. He is the leader/musical director of jazz-hiphop outfit BQEZ (www.myspace.com/bqez). Washington Alcebo Duke, having combined drum set with
latin percussion in BABALOO for the last 3 years,
approaches the drums with an unmistakable carribbean
flavor.
