Coming out of the northern New Jersey suburbs, Baldi & Suburban Graffiti have begun to put together a commanding sound that takes the style of G-Love & Sublime even further, with a heavier hip hop influence, mixed with a Soulive meets Earth Wind and Fire full band funk & jazz sound. Without a member older than seventeen years of age, the band absolutely demands respect for their implausible talent and their undeniable potential.

Keller/Bailis with Special Guests 930pm
Like Jack Johnson, Keller/Bailis plays groovy acoustic funk. The difference is that where Johnson relies on a bit more eclectic sound, incorporating lite jazz, Keller/Bailis's points of reference are based groove, funk, R&B music as well the classic singer-songwriter motifs. Josh
Keller is formely the lead guitarist and lead singer from the 8-piece Funk Unit, "Nozmo King" Washington Duke, having combined drum set with latin percussion in BABALOO for the last 3 years,
approaches the drums with an unmistakable carribbean flavor.

The Brian Thomas All-Stars1030pm
The Brian Thomas All-Stars will be bringing a fresh brand of FUNK down to the Lion’s Den in NYC on the 23rd, the night before thanksgiving. This one time only line up includes Dan Delacruz (JBB) on sax, Johnny Trama (Moon Boot Lover) on guitar, Beau Sasser (Akashic Record) on organ, Eric Kalb (Deep Banana Blackout) on drums, Laquin Lay on tenor sax, Lady Enchantress on congas, Dave Szebeda (Babaloo) on trumpet, and myself on trombone. Get there early because the show starts at 10pm. Also on the bill that night includes an acoustic set by former Nozmo King guitarist Josh Keller. I expect this to be a great Ithaca reunion and I can't wait to hear some of those Nozmo King tunes, acoustic style!!!! Please forward this to any Ithaca alumni.
